Hello

At my practice, I strive to provide a safe, compassionate, non judgmental space where you can explore worries and fears and find their roots. I teach concrete skills that calm the nervous system in order to make more space for managing negative feelings. I use EMDR to help my clients make sense of past trauma, reduce reactions to the things they fear today, and practice new skills for tomorrow.

My Practice

My work centers on mindfulness, developing strong internal resources, and living a meaningful life according to your values. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming, sex-positive, body-positive, and welcome all non-traditional relationships and lifestyles. I am passionate about honoring my clients’ inherent worth and dignity.

My approach is humanistic and client-centered, with an emphasis on emotional regulation and self-compassion. I work collaboratively with my clients to determine treatment goals and we achieve them through practical skills and deeper work.  The therapeutic relationship allows a space for clients to explore their self-concept, correct distortions, and change patterns that no longer serve them.
